North Chestnut Street from Main Street to Broadhead Avenue
Northbound lane will be closed and detours will be in place.

Please be advised that ongoing sewer work will result in road closures and traffic delays on the following streets in the Village of New Paltz from Monday, October 27, 2025, through Friday, November 7, 2025:

• Harrington Street (from John Street to Henry W. Dubois Drive)
• Church Street (from North Front Street to Broadhead Avenue)

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve our infrastructure. Please plan accordingly and consider alternate routes where possible.

Part Time Temporary Parking Enforcement Officer- Village of New Paltz

Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends, as needed), and to work independently. The position requires a significant amount of walking.

Enforcement of non-moving violations only, expired meters, inspections, alternate side parking and all other non-moving violations. $23.00 per hour

The Village of New Paltz will begin their annual leaf pick up throughout the Village on November 3, 2025 for a two-week period. We will start the pick up on the north side November 3, 2025 to November 7, 2025. We will start on the south side November 10, 2025 to November 14, 2025.
If bagging leaves, only biodegradable bags will be accepted.
BAGGED OR LOOSE LEAVES ONLY SHOULD BE PLACED AT
CURBSIDE.
Biodegradable bags can be purchased from the Village of New Paltz at 25 Plattekill Avenue Mon. – Fri. 9am to 4pm
for the price of $2.50 per five pack.
