Notice of meeting time change for February 18 2026 Village Board meeting

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the start time of the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz on Wednesday February 18, 2026 has been moved from 7 pm to 6pm for the purpose of conducting interviews of the Mayoral appointment candidates beginning at 6pm. 

The meeting will be held at the regular location:
New Paltz Village Hall
First Floor Meeting Room
25 Plattekill Avenue
New Paltz N.Y.

Notice – Snow Removal Alert

The Department of Public Works will begin snow removal on all Village streets today, January 28, 2026, starting at 10:00 PM, and will continue until the work is completed.

Important reminders for residents:

  • Please do not park in areas where “No Parking” signs have been posted.
  • Please continue to adhere to all other posted parking regulations.

Notice: 2/9 Joint Special Meeting Planning Board and Historic Preservation Commission

Please take notice that a joint special meeting of the Village of New Paltz Planning Board and Historic Preservation Commission will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the meeting can be convened, at Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz, NY. The meeting will immediately follow the Historic Preservation Commission’s regular meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and review a proposed Site Plan application by the Historic Huguenot Society. This meeting is not a public hearing, and the public will not be permitted to speak. Public hearings for both boards will be held at a later date.
