Public Notice: Water Main Repairs
The Village of New Paltz Department of Public Works is currently repairing two water main breaks within the Village.
Repairs are taking place at the following locations:
- Intersection of Main Street and Prospect Street
- Intersection of Main Street and North Front Street
Residents and motorists may experience temporary traffic delays or minor service disruptions in these areas while crews complete the work.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team works to make these necessary repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

Office Closure for Presidents’ Day – February 16, 2026
Please note that the Village of New Paltz offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Presidents’ Day. The offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
