NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz will take place on Wednesday September 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at New Paltz Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, New Paltz N.Y. for the purpose of discussing the referendum question of consolidating the Village of New Paltz and the Town of New Paltz, Ulster County, New York, into a consolidated town government.

The Village of New Paltz will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Village Clerk’s Office

Last week, the Village and Town Boards passed a joint resolution memorializing Veteran Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Day and recognizing the Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Flag.

Village offices will be closed on Monday, September 21, 2026, in observance of Yom Kippur.

The offices will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Wishing all who observe Yom Kippur a meaningful and peaceful holiday.

The Village of New Paltz will conduct its annual Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) service at the water treatment plant tomorrow, September 16, 2026.

Residents may experience some brown or discolored water as a result of this maintenance.
