SHINE A LIGHT ON UTILITIES
Thursday, March 19, 2026
6:00pm
Location:
SUNY New Paltz Student Union Building
Room 401
Please join NY’s Public Utilities Law Project (PULP) for a free workshop: get to know your utilities rights (and responsibilities) — and what to do when you need help with utilities issues! Co-hosted by the SUNY New Paltz chapter of the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), the Village of New Paltz’s Landlord-Tenant Relations Council, and the Village of New Paltz’s Housing Smart Communities Taskforce.
We invite all New Paltz community members to this in-person discussion on utility consumer rights in New York State. PULP attorneys will shed light on how consumers can receive financial assistance if they are in arrears. Lastly, the session will close with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. Can’t make it? Email info@utilityproject.org for more info!
